For the Love of Gold: In the name God, Gold and Glory

Valletta, back then an infamous limestone lair of sin, greed and violence. During your day trips in Malta hear of men and women from Valletta, profiting from misery all around, all in the name of God and Gold
5/5

Rarely can one find such passion, dedication and outstanding delivery in a walking tour. From the very beginning to the last second, Chris goes above and beyond to show you Malta's real history which is simply fascinating. His role of the corsair Xandru is convincing and backed up with factual information, researched together with his colleague Giacomo. The stories are very intriguing, at times gruesome, but hey, that's how it was, that stuff was real and these ARE the real Malta tours after all... It may not be to everyone's liking, but that is to be expected and is also clearly stated. For me, a history buff, this was more than I could've hoped for. I happened to have a private tour, so Chris, his sailor Artor and I went on a walk through Valletta, a walk through the centuries of Maltese survival on this fortress of an island, and the walk was just unforgettable. Well done, kappelan!
