The Enigma of the Haunted Blue Dolphin House in Valletta

Picture this: It’s night-time in Valletta, and you find yourself on St Ursula Street. Keep an eye out for a house showing signs of disarray that has never been sold. Why, you ask? Legend has it that many moons ago, when Malta was under British rule, a captivating woman approached two sailors. She asked for their assistance in reaching her home, and the sailors, thinking they had hit the jackpot, gladly obliged.

Upon arriving at their destination, the woman requested their help in opening the door, as she had accidentally left her key inside. Stepping inside, the sailors were awestruck by the house’s grandeur and opulent decor.

The following morning, one of the sailors returned to the house to retrieve a forgotten cigarette case. To his horror, he found the once-magnificent abode now reduced to ruins. When he shared this chilling discovery with the neighbors, they informed him that the house had been in that state for decades. Spooky, right?

Mdina: Where Ghosts Roam Free

Mdina, the enchanting old capital, may exude beauty and tranquility, but it conceals bone-chilling secrets that will keep you awake at night.

Once upon a time, a young woman, engaged to marry, caught the lustful gaze of an obsessive knight, who disregarded her betrothal. Being a knight, he believed he could do as he pleased. One fateful night, he tracked her down and committed a heinous act of assault. Seeking justice, the young woman took matters into her own hands and ended the knight’s life. However, her act of vengeance didn’t go unpunished. She faced capture, arrest, and a death sentence, but as her final wish, she married her beloved before her execution. Ah, the justice system of old! Her headless corpse reportedly photobombs visitors’ photos and warns young men to abandon thoughts of love!
